Pilot Assignment in Cell-Free Massive MIMO Based on the Hungarian Algorithm

چکیده

This letter focuses on the problem of pilot assignment in cell-free massive MIMO systems. Exploiting well-known Hungarian algorithms, two procedures are proposed, one maximizing system throughput, and other fairness across users. The algorithms operate based knowledge large-scale fading coefficients as a proxy for distances between users system, take into account both uplink downlink performance. Numerical results show that proposed effective outperform many competing alternatives available literature.

Utility-based Downlink Pilot Assignment in Cell-Free Massive MIMO

We propose a strategy for orthogonal downlink pilot assignment in cell-free massive MIMO (multiple-input multipleoutput) that exploits knowledge of the channel state information, the channel hardening degree at each user, and the mobility conditions for the users. These elements, properly combined together, are used to define a user pilot utility metric, which measures the user’s real need of a...

Accent assignment algorithm in Hungarian, based on syntactic analysis

This article presents the results of the research aimed at developing an accent assignment system for Hungarian. Two methods are compared. The shallow method targets local and short-distance factors that determine accent; the deep (syntactic) method targets long-distance influences (such as focus). Neither of the methods alone results in absolutely satisfactory output; frequently, however, mist...

Cell-Free Massive MIMO with Limited Backhaul

We consider a cell-free Massive multiple-input multiple-output (MIMO) system and investigate the system performance for the case when the quantized version of the estimated channel and the quantized received signal are available at the central processing unit (CPU), and the case when only the quantized version of the combined signal with maximum ratio combining (MRC) detector is available at th...

Pilot Contamination in Small-Cell Massive MIMO Systems

The increasing demand for wireless data services requires massive network densification which is neither economically nor ecologically feasible. The concept of cell-size reduction provides an effective and simple solution to this problem. Small-Cell Networks (SCN) are one of the promising architectures based on this idea. Generally, a SCN is a cellular network where the size of the cells are ve...

Pilot contamination reduction in massive MIMO systems based on pilot scheduling

The pilot contamination caused by sharing the non-orthogonal pilots among users is considered to be a bottleneck of the massive multi-input multi-output (MIMO) systems. This paper proposes a pilot scheduling scheme based on the degradation to address this problem. Through computing the degradation of the users, the proposed scheduling assigns the optimal pilot sequence to the user who suffers f...
